The US-Israel Eco-Technology Development Program
Faith2Green and the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life of Southern California (CoejlSC) programs are of varying scope and focus but all contribute to the goals of integrating a vision of sustainability, responsibility, and advocacy for creation while repairing, protecting, and preserving our environment. CoejlSC, under the umbrella organization, Faith2Green, partners with Community Assets Consulting to implement its programs in partnership with the industry representatives, political officials, environmentalists, and the faith community.
In the US-Israel Eco-Technology Development Program, Faith2Green alongside CAC provides early stage environmental technology business development consulting services to Israeli and US environmental technology companies looking to enter the markets of California and the Western
United States. Over the past years, this program was instrumental in securing over $80 million in client sales and in the creation of hundreds of jobs in the Israeli technology sector. Last year alone, we facilitated a over $2 billion partnership between Solel Solar and PG&E to build the world’s largest solar power plant in California’s Mojave Desert and another $100 million in other technology sales. Our staff, both in the US and Israel, often functions as the US representative to these companies. The breadth of Faith2Green’s vast experience includes, but is not limited to, assisting clients in the following technical areas: waste management, solar power, water desalination, water treatment, and hydroelectric power.
Under the guidance of our environmental technology advisory committee consisting of business executives, venture capitalists, and technology leaders, Faith2Green works with Community Assets Consulting to increase the profits of Israeli environmental technology companies through the effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies. To develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, Faith2Green works alongside CAC and analyzes industry position and maintains best practice knowledge of client markets, associated markets, political climate, and regulatory issues; spearheads technical studies that quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the short-term and long-term issues facing the business; secures venture capital and other sources of funding; develops marketing and sales models to examine, evaluate, and develop improved processes to grow revenue profitably; leads elements of the strategic planning process; and guides business improvement via application of best practices.
Through the US-Israel Eco-Technology Development Program, Faith2Green generates widespread support for Israeli environmental technology companies’ business goals by (1) leveraging relationships with business leaders, investors, interest groups, governmental agencies, and elected officials; (2) leading economic development missions to Israel for US government officials, venture capitalists, investors, religious leaders, and community leaders; and (3) co-hosting the biannual California-Israel Eco-Technology Forum, which fosters discussion of emerging technologies, potential partnerships, and funding opportunities among Israeli environmental companies and the California business community.
