Founding
Lazarus Renewables was started in 2011 as a branch of the Community Assets Consulting solar effort with a specific emphasis in photovoltaic solar development. Drawing from decades of experience acquired through CAC projects, Lazarus has become the face of all that is solar within CAC. On a smaller scale, Lazarus has played a role in the garnering of state and federal resources to implement photovoltaic, thermal, and thermal pool solutions throughout the Los Angeles area. We have acquired key partnerships to not only carry out high profile projects, but also to ensure the security of solar resources in local utility providers, extending to solar department staffing and rebate funds.

- Participation in the successful negotiation of a $2 Billion dollar solar PPA with Pacific Gas and Electric.
- Assisting in successful contract negotiations resulting in the retrofit of over 300 MW of solar power plant facilities.
- Managing and facilitating PPA negotiations with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
- Conducting Power Purchase negotiations with the Southern California Power Purchase Authority.
- Authoring a Federal solar bill allowing non-profit organizations to allow a 30% savings for the purchase of a solar system.
- Amending California’s Million Solar Rooftop Initiative to be solar neutral and include technologies other than solar photovoltaic.
- Authoring over half a dozen solar bills to address the needs of the solar energy industry in areas such as tax suspension, regulation adoption, and research.
Mission
At Lazarus Renewables, we strive to involve ourselves in the comprehensive practice of implementing solar technologies. We secure investment resources in three different funds focused on PPAs, renewables, and an Eb-5 visa fund to help facilitate quick project transitions. Additionally, keeping three active funds allows us to qualify for higher profile projects due to the presence of immediate funding availability. Lazarus actively pursues solar work using a variety of technologies and cooperates with an extensive network to move swiftly from proposal to construction to operation. We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and the benefit it brings to the communities we serve.
