Environmental Investment Fund
The CAC Fund is an open-end, diversified, no-load family of environmentally conscious funds. CAC provides people who care about a clean, healthy planet the opportunity to use the clout of their investment dollars to encourage environmentally responsible corporate behavior and the ability to bring new environmental technologies to market. The Fund makes investments in a wide range of sustainable industries and in companies of all sizes. The Fund invests in both U.S. and foreign companies, and has no limitation on the percentage of assets invested in the U.S. or abroad.
The Fund concentrates 100% of its total assets in companies which have an interest in sustainability, alternative energy, and waste management technologies, as well as other companies whose technologies or products act to reduce pollution and other environmental harms. This allows investors to reward companies that make positive contributions toward actively promoting a healthier environmental future, including companies that produce renewable energy products and those that offer effective remedies for existing environmental problems.
CAC seeks to invest in environmentally distinguished companies, both large and small.
The CAC Fund seeks capital growth and income from a diversified portfolio of companies who meet our standards for corporate environmental responsibility. The objective is to achieve long-term total return which matches and exceeds the performance of an index comprised of the stocks of 400 companies selected based on social and environmental criteria. The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing in the companies with the highest possibility of significant return.
