Israel Business Development

Picture
CAC is a U.S. representative to environmental technology companies such as Solel, the world leader in solar technology for central power generation.  Solel recently finalized half-billion dollar merger with Siemens AG, creating a powerhouse in the industry.

Under the guidance of the CAC environmental technology advisory committee consisting of business executives, venture capitalists, and technology leaders, CAC increases the sales and profits of Israeli environmental technology companies through the effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies. Additional US-Israel Economic Development Program strategic partners include The Coalition for the Environment and Jewish Life of Southern California (COEJL) with offices in the U.S. and Israel, and the Interfaith Environmental Council (IEC).

CAC generates widespread support for Israeli environmental technology companies’ business goals (and stronger economic development in the area of environmental technology) by leveraging relationships with business leaders, investors, interest groups, governmental agencies, and elected officials.

For the past several years, CAC and its partner, CoejlSC, has led economic development missions to Israel for US government officials, venture capitalists, investors, religious leaders, and community leaders.  The mission participants learn about the country, visit technology centers, meet with government officials, and develop deals with business leaders.

CAC has also hosted the semi-annual California-Israel Eco-Technology Forum in partnership with the Israel Export Institute, the Government of Israel Economics Mission, the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, the Southern California-Israel Chamber of Commerce, the Milken Institute, and The Jewish Federation.  This conference brings together Israeli environmental companies with the California business community to discuss emerging technologies, potential partnerships, and funding opportunities.  Former Prime Minister Shimon Peres served as the keynote speaker at the 2005 conference.

CAC also has authored and successfully advocated an environmental technology agreement between Israel and the State of California.
